This sword is from the "Batak" people of Northern Sumatra.
Wood scabbard is carved with symmetrical and traditional motifs.
The carved wood hilt is a Batak figural protector.
This is an unusual shape of blade. It is old, original and has rust on the whole blade.
The scabbard is newly, custom made to fit the odd shape blade perfect.
Blade length: 13.5 inches.
